As a Kid, I really despised Mushrooms. I found them not to taste very good and their Texture did not really win me over, either.
All that changed a few Years ago when I was travelling through Canada, if memory serves me right.
Ever since then, I actually kinda love Mushrooms. They actually do taste awesome!

For quite a while now, I had been planning to make myself a nice, simple Mushroom Pan with just a handful of Ingredients.
Today was the Day I finally got to do just that. I had bought myself some Champignons (only translates to Mushrooms), a handful of Bacon Bits, some Cream and Onions.
I also used some Zaubergewürz I had gotten from my Mom, as well as a bit of Sea Salt. Seasoning is very important after all.

All I had to do to get from my Ingredients to the finished Dish was to cut up those Mushrooms and Onions and get cracking.
Sadly, as Mushrooms go, they shrunk quite a bit in the Pan. When I had added them, it was almost overflowing.
But when it was Time to add the Cream, those big Mushrooms had shrunken down a lot. I guess there really is a lot of Water in them.
You should be good if you do not cut them too small though.
After adding the Cream and Seasoning, all I had to do was wait, turn down the Heat and stir occasionally to avoid it sticking to my Pan.

What I ended up with today was a scrumptious Mushroom Pan. It did not just smell awesome, but it tasted simply divine.
In the beginning, I had wished that I had used more Bacon, I still have some left in the Fridge after all.
That really was not necessary though. There was just the right Amount of Bacon.

There also was just the right Amount of Onions for the Quantity of Mushrooms I had used. None of the Ingredients were overpowering at all.
Even those Mushrooms had their Apace right there on the Stage.
I am really happy with how my Food turned out.
