Last Friday, I had been to Bremen for the first Time.
I only stayed a very short While, but I still had to eat something, as I had not done so before I had arrived in the City.
Because I had been in the Mood for something Fishy, I decided to head by the local Nordsee.
That is not only a Sea, but also a Food Chain focused on Seafood.
Since I actually was kinda hungry that Afternoon, I actually bought two little Sandwiches, one with shredded Salmon and one with Backfisch.
That Salmon Sandwich also came with some Egg, and it was really good. I do not have much to say about it, but it was a tasty Treat.
Salmon is a tasty Fish, but it is definitely not one of my Favourites. There a much better sorts around. Like Pickerel, or Kibbelinge.
Even Halibut tastes better than Salmon in my honest opinion.
That Backfisch Sandwich was much better though. Backfisch is usually battered and deep fried Salmon by the Way.
It is kinda like a huge Fish Finger, and it is actually super delicious with a good drop of Remoulade.
It is also my usual go-to when I happen to go to a Nordsee.
In the End, I should have probably also ordered a Bremer Brötchen, since I was in Bremen. Those appeared to be sold out at that Time though.
But since I will definitely return to Bremen, there are going to many more opportunities to do that.
