I am not usually a man of Desserts. Sometimes, it just has to be something sweet to round of a nice Meal though.
When it comes to that, there are many fabulous choices around, some of those much better than the others.
One of those better Choices is Dutch, but it is not Stroopwaffels. Those are on another Level entirely.
What I am talking about are little tiny Pancakes. Very delicious, tiny Dutch Pancakes.
You might call them as Poffertjes, but I just know them as heavenly little delights. That is especially true for just made, fresh from the Pan Poffertjes.
Those are especially awesome with a bit of Butter and powdered Sugar, and to be honest I never had them any other Way.
Poffertjes are a mighty fine, fluffy delicious Treat. I really do love them when I can get some.
Sadly, that does not happen all to often these Days, and the last Poffertjes I had were mediocre at best.
But they probably had been sitting in that Delivery Box for a while. They were my Desert after all.
