Here in Europe, we have a whole lot of different Breads. A lot of them are typical to certain Places like the Baguette is to France.
Some Styles are more Regional, while others are made all over the Place. They all have one They my in Common though: There is a lot of Tradition involved.
One of those Breads is the Swedish Knäckebröd, or Crispbread. Just like the Name suggests, it is very crisp and crunchy.
It is also super delicious when combined with the right Toppings.

One of my favourite Knäckebröd Snacks is actually made by yet another Purveyor to the Swedish Crown, Wasa Breads.
It is a very simple, yet uber practical and very delicious Treat consisting of two slabs of Knäckebröd with a layer of Cream Cheese in between.
My favourite Version also has some beautiful Chives in it.

Just like any other Knäckebröd, those little Sticks filled with that Cream Cheese Goodness are very crispy indeed.
That is actually what I love most about them, second only to their Flavour.
Another Thing I really like is the practicality of the Snack though: It comes two Sticks in a wrapper and three wrappers in a ‘set’.

Whenever I am at School or even at work, I usually take one of those Wrappers with me every now and then.
If I do not eat it that Day, that is no Problem at all, it is still good the next Day after all. Without refrigeration.
That bit actually concerns me a bit, since the Snack does contain Cheese, but apparently it is good.
Also, did I say Knäckebröd is bloody delicious?
