There is nothing quite like a Day at the Fair. Even if it is tiny, at School and only half a Day long. There was not that much going on as well.
Of Course there was Food. And I went for a completely different ‘classic’.
I had some fantastic Waffles. Bubbly Waffles. No one actually believed me that I had never even heard of those Things before.
But I had not.
The Thing is: My School is probably not like any School you know. Yeah, there are normal Classes, but it is a vocational School first.
Amongst Courses like Pipeline Laying and Well Digging, they also have a Culinary/ Gastro School attached and there is a full on Bakery School just next door.
Those Guys really know how to make Food. They are especially good at Baking though.
They were definitely involved with the Schools Spring Fair. I am sure of it.
Like I said, I never had Bubbly Waffles before in my Life. I had never even heard of those Things before.
I kinda do love Waffles though, and so I went straight for them.
At the Stand, I was then able to choose three Toppings and a Sauce for my Mates 2.50€s.
There were quite a few Choices to be had, but I ended up with a few Slices of Strawberry, a Dash of powdered Sugar, some Whipped Cream and Strawberry Sauce.
It was great. The Waffle was both Fluffy and Crunchy at the same Time. It was also very Flavourful for a simple Waffle.
The only Thing that did not fully agree with me was that namesake Bubblynes. I just did not really get it.
I guess I still prefer normal Heart or awesome Square Waffles. Those are just straight forward and not fancy.
