A while ago, I bought my very first Tin of Korean Kimchi. That’s Napa Cabbage fermented with Gochugaru (Korean Chili) and many other Seasonings.
The only Thing that I still had to do was to create a good tasting Meal with this new to me Ingredient.
I think I managed to create something quite nice.

The base of my Dish was actually my Gochuchicken, just with a bit less Gochujang and without Soy Sauce, because I didn’t have left anymore.
Since I had never cooked with Kimchi before, I didn’t really know what to do with it.
In the End, I just added the whole Tin, Cabbage and Juice, into my Chicken mixture and let the whole Thing cook for a while.
I also had to figure out what I wanted to eat with the Food that I had cooking.
At first, I had thought to create some Pita Pockets again, but that didn’t seem fitting.
Then I wanted add some Pasta as a Side, but I didn’t have much left. So I used Rice.

After some Time, my Food started to smell very awesome, and that was when I knew that it was ready.
To Plate, I just put down a Bed of Rice and then added the Main Dish of Chicken with Kimchi on Top.
It was definitely a good Meal, don’t get me wrong. But there was definitely something amiss.
I think I should have bought more than one Tin of Kimchi at that Asian Supermarket.
It also lacked Onions.

I’ve never tried, but apparently the stuff is pretty easy to make at home. Good job!

I’ve also never made Kimchi myself, and I also don’t really dare to make fermented Foods yet.
